Salary
This role offers an estimated annual salary of $125,000 - $165,000, reflecting the company's commitment to fair compensation and its desire to attract top talent in the industry. The salary range considers the high cost of living in Portland, OR, and the need for competitive compensation to drive success.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Developing and articulating a clear creative vision that aligns with the company's overall design ethos and strategy.
  2. Overseeing all aspects of footwear design, from initial concept to final product, ensuring design excellence and attention to detail.
  3. Guiding and mentoring a team of designers to ensure their creative work aligns with the brand's aesthetic and product performance standards.
  4. Staying at the forefront of global fashion and design trends to drive innovation.
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
  • A degree in Design, Fashion, or a related field.
  • 10-14 years of experience in footwear design, with at least 5 years in a leadership or design director role.
  • Proven experience leading creative teams and driving successful product launches.
  • Strong knowledge of footwear construction, AI design tools, 3D modeling technologies, and materials.
