About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures independently, handling and preparing radionuclides, and administering medications under the direction of a radiologist or cardiologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic imaging procedures independently, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Handle, prepare, and administer radionuclides and interventional medications under the direction of a radiologist or cardiologist.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with departmental and state requirements.
  • Assist the radiation safety officer as needed and perform clerical duties as required.
Requirements
  • Current valid State of Florida license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT-N certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Associate's degree or higher in a health science-related field (preferred).
