Join Our Team as a CT Technologist II PRN

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist II PRN to join our team at AdventHealth ER located in Oviedo. As a CT Technologist II PRN, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners, including neuro and body scans. You will work closely with our team of board-certified emergency physicians, critical care nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary
  • Screen patients for any contrast allergies and properly administer contrast agents
  • Operate all imaging equipment safely and properly, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and co-workers
  • Practice infection control standards and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Perform quality control checks on CT scanners and troubleshoot any issues
  • Assist with collection of data for KPIs and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or technical degree in a related field
  • One year of experience as a CT Technologist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ARRT (R) registration and state license as required by state
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS in a healthcare-related discipline
  • Two years of hospital-based clinical radiology experience
  • General computer skills and PACS experience
