As an Electrical Equipment Technician at PGT Innovations, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining complex machinery and equipment, including electrical supply lines and circuits, electrical/electronic controls, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting equipment for proper lubrication and performing general preventative maintenance duties
- Diagnosing equipment operating problems and making repairs, part replacements, and adjustments
- Operating a variety of hand and power tools, shop equipment, and machining tools
- Welding and performing sheet metal operations as required
- Inspecting equipment and testing performance following repairs
Additionally, you will be expected to work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth operation of production equipment and to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements include:
- Minimum of three years experience in journey-level equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
