Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor management, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Assist in the month-end closing activities, including general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and reconcile commission reports, addressing any discrepancies in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Support various departments with accounting tasks, procedural guidance, and financial reporting.
  • Maintain accounting databases by accurately entering data into the company's financial management system.
  • Conduct reconciliations of bank and company financial accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies as necessary.
  • Validate and process equipment rebates and credits.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive company information.
  • Manage all aspects of sales and use tax compliance.
  • Contribute to finance-related projects, reporting requirements, and process enhancements.
  • Maintain fixed asset records, manage depreciation schedules, and handle personal property tax submissions.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role include regular sitting, talking, and hearing, with occasional requirements for walking, standing, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities necessary for this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
