Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing assessments, and developing care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including medication administration records and resident care plans.
- Current valid certification as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Illinois.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form with a diverse group of people.
- Ability and willingness to work harmoniously within a team environment departmentally.
- Ability to maintain good personnel relations and employee morale.
- Aptitude for detail work.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with EMR or willingness to learn EMR system.
- Ability to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
The LPN Staff Nurse will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing care to residents in a variety of settings, including resident rooms and common areas. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with residents and families, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
