We are seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient IT infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues of moderate to high complexity, including hardware and operating system integration.
- Install and configure hardware and operating systems to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define computing requirements and develop end-to-end solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 2 years of experience, or 6 years of directly related experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- Linux experience and proficiency in one or more of the following: VMware vCenter, vSphere, VDI, ESX, and/or other virtual computing methods.
- Active DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level 2 certification or higher.
- Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS, and/or DoD/RMF.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies, and scripting languages.
