Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: New Beginnings, Waverly
Shift: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness by emptying trash receptacles.
- Service and inspect vehicles and small gas engines, ensuring fluids and batteries are in optimal condition.
- Oversee the upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, and other concrete areas, including snow removal.
- Conduct inspections, assembly, and delivery of office furniture while maintaining organized storage for surplus items.
- Perform filter maintenance and execute additional tasks as assigned.
- Mount and frame artwork, certificates, and similar items.
- Replace and maintain wall and floor tiles, ensuring painted surfaces are well-kept.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience in mechanical and facilities maintenance.
- Skills Required: Ability to follow both oral and written instructions, work collaboratively, and operate independently when necessary; capacity to work in extreme cold; proficiency in reading and interpreting shop drawings and sketches; ability to lift weights ranging from 1-100 pounds.
- Technical Skills: Experience with manual hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- At least one year free from issues related to chemical dependency.
- Preferred: Boiler system licensing.
