Key Responsibilities:
  • General Cleaning: Ensure the facility remains immaculate through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Sanitization: Clean and disinfect restrooms, break areas, and other communal spaces.
  • Waste Management: Regularly empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Supply Oversight: Monitor cleaning supplies and communicate when restocking is necessary.
  • Minor Repairs: Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and replacing air filters.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning agents and equipment.
  • Special Projects: Participate in additional cleaning tasks and deep cleaning initiatives as required.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years of cleaning experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Independence: Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Attention to Detail: Capable of following instructions on cleaning products and safety guidelines.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to respond to emergencies and assist with snow removal when necessary.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform tasks involving standing, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Mobility: Capable of walking on flat surfaces and reaching above shoulder height or below waist level as needed.

Work Environment:

Work will take place in various areas of the facility, which may involve exposure to noise and temperature fluctuations. Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection may be necessary.
