Janitorial Assistant

Craft-Bilt Manufacturing Co. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our Souderton, PA facility.

• General Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust the plant to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
• Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to prevent the spread of germs.
• Trash Management: Empty trash receptacles and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
• Supply Management: Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
• Minor Maintenance: Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and replacing air filters.
• Safety First: Follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals and equipment with care.

• Experience: High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years of housekeeping experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to read and follow instructions on cleaning products and safety sheets.
• Flexibility: Willingness to handle emergencies and perform snow removal when necessary.

Work in various plant areas with occasional noise and temperature variations. PPE like safety glasses and hearing protection may be required. Dress accordingly for varying temperatures.
