Job Description for Ambulatory Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Ambulatory Nurse Specialist to join our team at Atrium Health. This role is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the ambulatory setting.

  • You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized plans, and implementing evidence-based practices.
  • You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • You will also maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collects data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.
  • Analyzes the assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
  • Develops a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
  • BLS required per policy guidelines.
  • Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state where the RN works.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year.
