We are a distinguished trial law firm in the Pacific Northwest seeking qualified attorney candidates with a background in civil litigation across various practice areas, including:

  • Asbestos and Toxic Tort Defense
  • Land Use Law
  • Transportation and Trucking Defense

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and modify legal documents as necessary
  • Provide legal counsel to clients regarding their rights
  • Formulate defense strategies for ongoing cases
  • Collect evidence and perform comprehensive research
  • Prepare legal briefs and articulate arguments
  • Represent clients in court proceedings
  • Interpret relevant laws and regulations

Required Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree with 4-6+ years of relevant experience
  • Licensed to practice law in Washington state; additional licenses are advantageous
  • Proven experience in asbestos/toxic tort defense, land use, or transportation/trucking defense litigation
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities
  • Capacity to bill 1800 hours annually
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Working Environment:

This position offers partial remote work flexibility, requiring a minimum of three days in the office. The work environment is typical of an office setting, with minimal exposure to noise and distractions. Candidates must be able to meet deadlines and have the flexibility to attend meetings, court appearances, and depositions as necessary. Occasional travel may be required, and the ability to lift or transport files weighing up to 20 pounds is necessary.
