Job Overview

Position: Composites & Assembly Production Coordinator


Role Summary: Hera Technologies, LLC is on the lookout for a dedicated Coordinator to become a part of our dynamic team in a collaborative and hands-on setting. The selected individual will undertake essential responsibilities associated with this role, along with other related tasks as assigned.


Classification: Hourly Nonexempt

Employment Type: Full-time

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm; Overtime and weekend work may be required, with hours subject to adjustment by management.

Compensation: $27.00 per hour, depending on experience

Reporting To: Composites Manager


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain organized and labeled inventory, ensuring proper tracking of shelf-life items with available resources.
  • Interface with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve issues related to material receipt, distribution, and quality.
  • Identify and address any unapproved operations during job closure reviews, seeking guidance from management as needed.
  • Monitor job progress and physical locations in real-time to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Proactively address scheduling conflicts to minimize disruptions in production.
  • Oversee production supply inventories and communicate restocking needs to purchasing associates.
  • Track and facilitate the movement of parts through production to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate the handling of parts through various operational stages, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies to support production and supply planning teams.
  • Generate and maintain reports to communicate needs and constraints for internal and customer use.
  • Enhance logistics processes through innovative workflow staging.
  • Manage material certifications to prevent the use of uncertified materials.
  • Support production cells with work order management as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in expediting or material handling.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective communication skills in both oral and written English.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Experience with scanning technologies (RF scanners, handheld devices, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment:

  • Willingness to work in an open-air environment with limited temperature control.
  • Ability to adhere to strict safety protocols, including wearing safety glasses and hearing protection.
  • Professional atmosphere where accountability and respect are paramount.
  • Collaborative culture that encourages open communication and support among team members.
  • Acknowledgment of individual contributions in a rewarding work environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance.
  • Regularly required to perform tasks involving lifting, standing, climbing, and other physical activities.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for up to 75% of the shift.
  • Vision capabilities required include near and distant vision, color vision, and depth perception.

Work Authorization and Clearances:

  • Authorization to work in the US is required.
  • Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination, including drug and alcohol testing.
