As a Regional Operations Manager, you will oversee the comprehensive service delivery for residential communities and provide leadership and guidance to our team of associates (Service Valets) within your designated region. In this capacity, you will report directly to the Director of Operations and collaborate closely with our sales team to ensure client satisfaction through continuous engagement and management of a part-time workforce responsible for waste and recycling collection.

Compensation: Salary range: $52,000 - $54,000

Bonus: Target bonus is 10% of annual salary (distributed quarterly)

Company Vehicle: Provided

The final compensation will be influenced by various factors, including the candidate's location, experience level, and skill set, and may vary from the stated range.

Work Schedule: This role requires flexibility to work a variable schedule, which may include morning, early afternoon, and evening hours based on business needs. You will operate from both a home office and on-site at community properties as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-call support to associates (Service Valets) and residential communities.
  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of part-time associates (Service Valets).
  • Ensure the timely completion of resident doorstep trash and recycling collection for assigned properties.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance from residents and Service Valets.
  • Create and manage schedules for the part-time workforce and review/approve timecards.
  • Manage a labor budget of up to $150k based on the number of assigned properties.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Customer Engagement:

  • Make informed decisions that consider the impact on customers and associates, ensuring the highest quality of service.
  • Address client and resident concerns with effective, lasting solutions.
  • Foster cooperative working relationships and maintain frequent communication with property staff through regular site visits.
  • Promote and educate property staff on new service offerings from Valet Living.

Organizational Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to and promote safety policies and procedures, reporting all incidents promptly.
  • Participate in team meetings, whether virtually, in person, or off-site as needed.
  • Act in accordance with organizational and quality standards.
  • Discuss associates' development needs and facilitate appropriate support and training opportunities.
  • Assist with property launches, including container distribution.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience managing multiple locations with a dispersed workforce.
  • Customer service and prior people management experience, preferably in a part-time workforce.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of basic employment law, customer service fundamentals, and leadership principles.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and accountability.
  • Ability to manage stress and adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective teams and hold self and others accountable.
  • Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on client needs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs, walk distances on property, including stairs, and perform physical tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle in compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Ability to work outdoors and endure varying temperatures.
  • Flexibility to work a variable schedule and be on call during irregular hours as needed.
