We are seeking a seasoned nurse leader to oversee our Surgical Services unit as a Nurse Manager. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the Surgical Services unit, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and standards of care.
- Nursing Staff Management: Manage and support nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care.
- Quality Improvement: Implement quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate scheduling and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective unit operations.
- Patient Care: Serve as a liaison between surgical staff, patients, and their families to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.
- Nursing Degree: A nursing degree is required for this role.
- Leadership Experience: A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within surgical services or a similar clinical area.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and manage multiple priorities effectively.
