Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator

Salary: $92,500 - $105,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Level 10 Construction. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the administrative, contractual, financial, and technical aspects of assigned projects are executed efficiently.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, with a minimum of three years' experience in commercial construction. You will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Viewpoint or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers and superintendents in managing construction projects, including document control, project schedule, and safety.
  • Identify and develop Requests for Information (RFIs) to communicate field issues with the design team and distribute responses to the field for implementation.
  • Develop and organize a submittal schedule for the project, reviewing project-specific submittals for compliance with contract documents and processing them for review by the design team.
  • Create a project-specific procurement schedule for all materials and equipment associated with the assigned project.
  • Organize a project-specific drawing log to track changes to contract documents and distribute updates to all project documents, including drawings and sketches.
  • Document field conditions through the use of camera technology or applicable platforms.
  • Develop an understanding of field coordination by interfacing with subcontractors, field personnel, project managers, and superintendents.
  • Prepare project closeout documents in accordance with project-specific requirements.
  • Analyze changes to contract documents, including Owner Change Order Requests (CORs) and Subcontractor Change Orders (SCOs).
  • Work with project managers to perform thorough and objective bid analyses using all applicable components.
  • Prepare subcontractor Schedules of Values and monthly owner billings with project managers and project superintendents.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Minimum three years' experience as a project coordinator in commercial construction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and scheduling software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Strong leadership, detail-oriented, problem-solving, initiative, and teamwork skills.
  • Proven ability to fulfill project development to project closeout responsibilities.

Working Conditions:

  • Duties require physical abilities such as repetitive hand/finger motions, arm extensions, sitting, standing, and walking job sites that include uneven and changing site conditions. Additionally, climbing stairs and ladders may be required.
