Job Title: Behavioral Health Therapist

At Konza Prairie Community Health Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will provide clinical therapy services to clients and their families in an outpatient setting, diagnosing and treating mental illness and behavioral health concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat mental illness and behavioral health concerns in an outpatient setting.
  • Provide clinical therapy services to clients and their families.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in conjunction with clients, interdisciplinary staff, families, and community agencies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Make sound, quick decisions in client-related matters.
Requirements:
  1. Master's Degree in a mental health-related field.
  2. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Masters Social Worker, or Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist as recognized with the State of Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
  3. Minimal of one-year clinical experience providing therapy services, including internships.
  4. Maintains License in good standing through State of Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker as recognized with the State of Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
  2. Is dually licensed as a Licensed Addictions Counselor or a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor as recognized with the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
  3. Is an Approved Clinical Supervisor as recognized with the State of Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
  4. Is Bi-lingual (English/Spanish).
