Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to patron inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure a thorough knowledge of building policies and procedures, as well as event requirements, to provide accurate information to guests.
- Distribute venue information and updates to patrons, ensuring they are aware of any changes or updates.
- Serve as a ticket taker and/or usher, distributing programs and escorting patrons to their seats.
- Listen to guest feedback and concerns, responding promptly and professionally.
- Provide ADA services and information to guests with disabilities, as well as special accommodations for wheelchairs and other physically handicapped patrons.
- Make every guest feel special, providing a personalized and memorable experience.
- Keep floors and aisles clear of obstructions, ensuring a safe and accessible environment for all patrons.
- Report any suspicious activity to your supervisor, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Attend events in the assigned location, wearing the required uniform.
- Initiate eye contact with guests within 10 feet, smile, and stand straight and tall, demonstrating confidence and capability.
- Avoid negative body language, showing confidence and professionalism at all times.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Coordinator/Manager, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education
- High School diploma or GED and one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Work independently, exercising judgment and initiative.
- Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
- Demonstrate exceptional skills in customer relations, communications, and problem-solving.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment.
- Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in oral and written form.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass background and reference checks.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
