About the Role:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Total Nutrition Technology.
Job Description:
- Assessing Quality Processes
Ensure execution of TNT quality assurance goals & objectives, action plans, audits, measurement systems, etc.
Analyze department work by periodically evaluating the QA processes for inbound raw materials and Finished Goods to build a better understanding of key quality challenges.
Collaborating with StakeholdersCollaborate with management team & other stakeholders to build commitment to implement department improvements & maintain high-quality compliance.
Contribute to periodic quality meetings with QA's, employees & teams to discuss quality methods and procedures.
Maintaining Quality StandardsValidate quality processes by ensuring product/service specification & quality attributes, measurements, maintain & improve quality by conducting periodic surveillance audits.
Work with the microbiologist to perform finished product testing and ship materials to a third-party laboratory.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Pre-operational inspections of each assigned area.
- Issue controlled materials to personnel and verify the return of these materials.
- Verify all process raw materials are accurately used for each lot.
- Perform organoleptic tests for manufactured products.
- Correctly perform process control and critical control point checks.
- Accurately perform in-process checks for finished products and in a timely manner.
- Release pallets of finished product and verify weights for barrels.
- Monitor product changeover and cleaning.
- Perform ATP/allergen swabs accurately for verification of each wet clean.
- Collect Environmental swabs to monitor for organisms.
- Perform final room checks at the end of the day.
- Inspect clean barrels in sanitation.
- Take samples of incoming raw material for quarantine.
- Receive and control the use of labels.
- Verify incoming raw material and outgoing shipments for correctness.
- Provide daily end-of-shift reports.
