Through a combination of hands-on learning, a vibrant work environment, engagement with business leaders, and a supportive network of colleagues, the Internship Program offers the chance to refine your skills and collaborate on significant projects.
We are looking for an Operations Intern to join our North American operations. You will engage in a project focused on enhancing process efficiencies and work closely with the leadership team at one of our advanced facilities. A successful internship will provide you with practical experience in manufacturing. Our co-op program serves as a talent pipeline for our Early Careers Program in Operations and across the organization.

Your Responsibilities
- Identify and assist in process enhancement initiatives
- Develop project plans and guide/support projects to successful completion
- Collaborate with plant leadership to implement operational initiatives
- Support cross-functional teams with special projects as needed
Avery Dennison's Co-Op and Internship Program stands out with its focus on networking, community, and support. From the outset, networking is encouraged and expected within the program. As you join other interns and Early Careers Program associates from various disciplines, you quickly build a community committed to ensuring your success.
A key aspect of the program is the peer mentoring initiative. You will be paired with an Early Careers Associate or program alumnus, focusing on the transition from academic life to the corporate world, leveraging strengths, and defining your early career trajectory.

Qualifications
What You Should Bring
Avery Dennison values your background. It should encompass the following:
Education
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, focusing on Electrical, Automation, Controls, or Mechanical disciplines
- Prior manufacturing internship/co-op experience or relevant work exposure
- Engagement in student organizations, such as Engineers Without Borders, Society of Women Engineers, National Society of Black Engineers, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, etc.
- Volunteer work or similar activities.
- Willingness to travel up to 10 percent of the time
