Job Summary

Bridges System Integration is seeking an experienced Audio Visual (AV) Rack Fabrication Technician to join our team. As an AV Rack Fabrication Technician, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining audio-visual equipment racks and cabinets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble audio-visual equipment racks and cabinets
  • Install and configure audio-visual equipment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot audio-visual systems
  • Collaborate with field engineers and programmers to commission audio-visual systems
  • Document and report project status and system documentation
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a rack fabrication technician
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting AutoCAD system flows
  • Knowledge of cabling types and cable fabrication practices
  • Ability to read and understand project drawings and schematics, engineering notes, and operation manuals
  • Ability to maintain complete and accurate as-built documentation of system installations
  • Ability to cable fabricate, test, and operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic test equipment properly and safely
  • Good interpersonal and time management skills
  • Physical condition to perform job duties and carry weights over 70 pounds
