Our goal is to gain novel insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying virulence, particularly how these factors interact with eukaryotic signaling pathways. Our research includes studying bacterial T3SS systems, their regulatory mechanisms, and the secreted effectors that manipulate host signaling systems. These investigations provide critical insights into the molecular dynamics of eukaryotic signal transduction. Our lab utilizes a comprehensive array of techniques, including biochemistry, molecular microbiology, protein chemistry, structural biology, yeast genetics, and cell biology.
