We are seeking an exceptional scientist to join our Center for Pulmonary and Vascular Biology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
The successful candidate will conduct innovative research in pulmonary and vascular biology, leveraging their expertise in basic and/or translational research to drive discovery and innovation.
As a member of our Center, you will collaborate with renowned researchers, physician-scientists, and biomedical scientists to advance our understanding of pulmonary and vascular biology.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and executing independent research projects
- Collaborating with colleagues to advance research goals
- Mentoring junior scientists and physician-scientists
- Securing funding to support research initiatives
We offer a competitive start-up package, laboratory space, and compensation/benefits. The successful candidate will be expected to direct a successful independent research program and effectively collaborate with other scientists.
UT Southwestern is a world-renowned institution with a rich biomedical research enterprise, offering a superb milieu for career development and advancement. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
