Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Soba & Umi. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is exceptional and memorable.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Service: Welcome and greet guests as they arrive, take food and beverage orders, and deliver those items from the kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner.
- Monitor and Observe: Monitor and observe guests' dining experience to ensure satisfaction and respond promptly to any requests.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food and beverages.
- Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Communication Skills: Able to communicate clearly and effectively with others.
- Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Standing: Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
- Lifting: Able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 25 pounds.
