Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the front-of-house restaurant operations to ensure compliance with company objectives and maintain a safe working environment for employees and guests.
  • Train staff in service standards, menu items, and food and beverage functions to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Develop and implement effective staffing schedules to meet business demands and maintain high-quality service standards.
  • Interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience and promote the resort's facilities and services.
  • Manage guest feedback and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize special events and ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintain high food quality and service standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging team building and employee morale.
  • Monitor and control restaurant expenses to maintain profitability and support the overall resort operation.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, ordering, and stocking of supplies.
  • Analyze cost-effectiveness and create forecasts and revenue reports to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain and enforce food handling regulations and other guidelines.

Requirements and Skills:

  • College degree preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with a minimum of 5 years as a Restaurant General Manager.
  • Proven knowledge of budgets, P&L statements, and capital expenditures.
  • Experience with food and beverage systems, inventory management, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across departments.
  • Expert knowledge of food and beverage outlet operations.
