APP Lead Primary Care Outpatient Opportunity

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Lead Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our Primary Care outpatient team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality clinic care and medical services to individuals, families, and groups, working collaboratively with multiple Primary Care providers.
  • Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies, and provide direct patient care services.
  • Assist with oversight and development of APPs within a given region, including candidate interviews, review of department productivity goals, and promotion of quality and operational improvements.
  • Work with Practice managers to ensure all requirements for national, state, and local licensing and certifications are up to date for APPs.
  • Assist with behavioral and other HR issues, conduct monthly rounding, and interface with Physicians, Director of Operations, and Practice Manager for feedback on APP performance.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification, or Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification.
