Electrophysiology Physician Opportunity at Corewell Health System

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Physician to join our team at Corewell Health System. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for providing primary health care services and consultation for patients and families, focusing on wellness and health promotion and surgical care services as appropriate.

Our team includes 10 physicians, including six interventional cardiologists, three non-interventional, and one electrophysiologist. We also have the support of nine advanced practice providers. Our competitive compensation package includes a generous signing bonus, initial salary guarantee, and the opportunity to bonus based on productivity.

You will have the opportunity to perform procedures in our state-of-the-art Surgery Suite, Cath Labs, and Hanson Heart Center at Corewell Health South St. Joseph Hospital. This includes the opportunity to perform TEE, cardioversion, and pacemaker implantation.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate Graduate of approved Medical College
  • 2 years of relevant experience Clinical experience Preferred
  • LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
  • LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association depending on age-appropriateness of patient population Upon Hire preferred Or
  • CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association depending on age-appropriateness of patient population Upon Hire preferred

Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph

With a rich history dating back to the 1800s, Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan, is a beacon of medical excellence in the region. Our state-of-the-art facility, with more than 250 beds, includes the recent addition of our Medical Pavilion - a multi-million-dollar expansion creating more than 260,000 square feet of new space. Our emergency departments include 34 patient beds, 12 observation beds, and additional treatment areas for the more than 45,000 patients we see each year.

Corewell Health in southwest Michigan is a teaching hospital, offering residencies in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine.
