Physician - Interventional Cardiology Specialist

Corewell Health South is seeking a highly skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join our team of cardiovascular specialists at Lakeland Heart & Vascular. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide primary health care services and consultation for patients and families, focusing on wellness and health promotion and surgical care services as appropriate.
Our team includes 10 physicians, including six interventional cardiologists, three non-interventional, and one electrophysiologist. We also have the support of nine advanced practice providers. Our competitive compensation package includes a generous signing bonus, initial salary guarantee, and the opportunity to bonus based on productivity.
As an Interventional Cardiologist at Corewell Health South, you will have the opportunity to perform procedures in our state-of-the-art Surgery Suite, Cath Labs, and Hanson Heart Center. This includes the opportunity to perform TEE, cardioversion, and pacemaker implantation.
Qualifications- Doctorate degree from an approved medical college
- 2 years of relevant experience in clinical settings
- LIC-Physician (MD) or LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) licensure in the State of Michigan
- CRT-DEA Registration in the State of Michigan
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) certification, depending on age-appropriateness of patient population
Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan, is a beacon of medical excellence in the region. Our state-of-the-art facility, with more than 250 beds, includes the recent addition of our Medical Pavilion, a multi-million-dollar expansion creating more than 260,000 square feet of new space. Our emergency departments include 34 patient beds, 12 observation beds, and additional treatment areas for the more than 45,000 patients we see each year.
We are a teaching hospital, offering residencies in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine. We also host 3rd and 4th year medical students from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Central Michigan University College of Medicine.
