Nurse Oncologist

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Hazel Crest, Illinois.

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Oncology department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for patients with cancer and related conditions.

• Provide ongoing care to patients with cancer and related conditions, including assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families on cancer treatment options and self-care techniques.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• At least 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in Oncology.
