NorthStar Memorial Group is currently in search of a Part-Time Staff Associate (Removal Technician) to join our dedicated team. Our organization is committed to providing exceptional support to families during their time of need, serving as a vital component in the funeral service process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport the deceased from various locations to the funeral home.
- Assist in funeral services, including the lifting and transferring of the deceased, dressing and casketing, as well as facilitating visitations and viewings.
- Maintain and clean the vehicles utilized by the facility.
- Provide courteous and respectful service to all clients and passengers at all times.
- Operate company vehicles in compliance with legal standards.
- Prepare the memorial area for families prior to services.
- Set up floral arrangements and other memorabilia, ensuring their return to the family post-service.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
- A high level of compassion and integrity is essential.
- Physical capability to lift significant weight without mechanical assistance.
Each removal completed during on-call shifts will receive an additional stipend, enhancing the hourly pay rate.
Flexible Scheduling: Opportunities to sign up for on-call removal shifts and weekday/weekend funeral services that align with your availability.
Compensation: Pay range is $17-18 per hour.
