Advanced Practice Provider-Cardiology Specialist

Job Summary:
Ascension Seton is seeking an experienced Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in Austin, Texas. As a member of our Interventional Cardiology service, you will work closely with our team of cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate patient care throughout the catheterization lab, including same-day discharge PCI and hospitalized patients.
- Prescribe medications and ensure accurate reconciliation of medication.
- Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
- Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources.
- Document delivery of healthcare and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.

Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
