About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean, sterilize, assemble, and issue equipment, supplies, and instruments according to prescribed procedures and techniques.
  • Authorize access to medication storage areas for stocking supplies and equipment.
  • Stock intravenous fluids and irrigation solutions, but not handle drugs or biological agents.
Requirements
  • National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire.
  • National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.
  • 400 hours of Sterile Processing Experience.
