Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Conversion Specialist to join our team. As a Conversion Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up and tearing down event-related materials, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret event-related materials, including manifests and floor plans, to properly configure conversion sets.
- Perform conversion tasks, including erecting pipe and drape, setting risers and stages, and placing chairs and equipment.
- Learn and adapt to new conversion tasks and equipment, including WaMu theater install and strike.
- Utilize available materials to safely handle and transport conversion equipment.
- Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, high lifts, and gas and electric carts.
- Install and remove field protection equipment, including polyethylene barriers and Portafloor.
- Provide limited supervision and training to Conversion crew members.
- Confirm event information and execute accordingly.
- Maintain inventory control and proper storage of equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Fill out daily reports and payroll reports in a timely manner.
- Minimum of 1600 hours working at a similar facility performing similar tasks.
- Ability to understand verbal and written conversational English instruction.
- Experience in conversion tasks and equipment is helpful.
- Knowledge of hazardous materials is desired.
- Positive attitude with strong customer service skills.

The employee is frequently required to lift up to 75 pounds.
