Job Summary

Coffee Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our Cardiovascular Catheterization Team, you will play a critical role in assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Diagnostic and Interventional Procedures: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to perform procedures, ensuring accurate diagnoses and optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain Sterile Fields and Equipment: Set up and maintain sterile fields, stock supplies, and ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Document Procedures and Patient Information: Accurately document procedures, patient information, and other relevant data.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement Activities: Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of a cardiovascular or radiologic technology program from an accredited institution.
  • Certifications: Certified in Cardiovascular Technology (RCIS) or obtain within 2 years of hire date; current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Experience: Healthcare-related work experience in cardiovascular procedures preferred.
