About the Role:
The Senior Technology Trainer is a key member of Latham's Technology team. This role will provide high-level technology training to lawyers and professional staff, working with local and global teams to consult, plan, design, and support training services.
This role will be located in our Paris office.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Provide assistance and training to end users for firm-approved applications through various methods, including classroom learning, webinars, remote sessions, and one-to-one requests.
- Consult with attorneys and business services staff to understand process and workflow, and how Latham Technology can help.
- Identify training needs and ensure requests from individuals are offered the correct resources.
- Prepare training materials, including handouts, follow-up notes, and written documentation.
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions, including booking relevant spaces, ensuring audio/visual mediums are prepared, confirming, and recording attendance.
- Work with the Global Technology Training team to ensure a consistent level of training is delivered firmwide and assist with software upgrades, implementations, and wider projects.

- Is passionate about training and upskilling others and has confidence in delivering instructional presentations.
- Has the ability to communicate with a range of seniorities and deliver excellent customer service.
- Works quickly and autonomously, yet engages with and seeks the contribution of stakeholders and peers on a regular basis.
Requirements:
- Experience in training and/or teaching, ideally software, and working within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including Windows 10 and Microsoft Office (latest versions), document management systems, timekeeping software, and communications technologies (iManage, InTapp, and Microsoft Teams, specifically, would be beneficial).
- An enjoyment for, and the flexibility to, travel to other offices as required.
- Fluency in English and French is essential. Spanish and/or Italian language skills are highly desirable but not essential.
