We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at La Palma Intercommunity Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Process and transmit images to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
- Assist in the maintenance of equipment and supplies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellent patient care
- One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred
- At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment preferred
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required
- Graduate of a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.), or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B.)
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required
