Overview:

The Toyota of Glendale's Business Development Center is responsible for handling incoming sales inquiries, showroom floor requests, service requests, and internet queries. As a representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met.

In addition to strong communication skills, the ideal candidate will have some post-secondary education or training, previous experience in a similar position, and a working knowledge of automotive sales/service. You must have a pleasant and courteous personality, strong administrative and organizational skills, and excellent phone and computer skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with prospective customers who have submitted inquiries on our website.
  • Coordinate questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel.
  • Manage all required paperwork and records, preparing documentation as needed.
  • Receive and coordinate all inbound service calls, scheduling appointments with service advisors.
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business and contribute to customer satisfaction.
  • Continually learn about product updates, features, accessories, inventory, and their benefits to the customer.
  • Guarantee customer satisfaction by establishing personal goals consistent with dealership standards of productivity.
  • Provide service or sales management information through completion reports.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with our company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
  • Support online customers by setting appointments.
