Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team at Tampa General Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and assisting with the planning and organization of daily procedures.
Responsibilities- Assume responsibility for patients for a designated time frame and provide care via the nursing process, environment, and other healthcare team members.
- Perform duties and conduct interpersonal relationships in a manner that projects a positive image of the department and the hospital.
- Ensure that all contacts with patients, the public, physicians, and other hospital personnel are carried out in a friendly, courteous, helpful, and considerate manner.
- Answer telephones in a prompt and courteous manner and provide assistance, explanations, and concern to callers or in face-to-face situations.
- At minimum, completion/graduation from a nursing program for Registered Nurse. Diploma or transcripts must be provided (diploma preferred).
- One (1) nursing experience in acute care required.
- One (1) year's experience within a Cath Lab performing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) preferred.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred but not required.
- Active State of Florida Registered Nurse License; BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Completion of Moderate Sedation and Basic Arrhythmia training within ninety (90) days of hire/transfer required.
