Job Summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a local contract basis. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students' communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement communication strategies
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to share progress and recommendations
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • New York State Speech Language Pathology License
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ASHA Certification
  • Experience working with students with communication disorders
