POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to become an integral part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Neurology, or Orthopedics. We also offer training opportunities for less experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), fostering a collaborative environment where you can make a significant impact on patient care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Rehabilitation Physician Assistant, your duties will include:
  • Delivering direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, under the guidance of the supervising physician.
  • Working closely with the interdisciplinary team to create and implement personalized care plans for patients in inpatient rehabilitation and those with chronic pain, orthopedic, and neurologic conditions.
  • Conducting regular patient rounds and follow-up visits to assess progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Providing education to patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatment alternatives, and self-care strategies.
  • Engaging in clinical meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the provision of high-quality, evidence-based care.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current PA license in the state of Maryland.
  • Preferred minimum of two years of clinical experience, though not mandatory.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Dedication to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care.
