Job Summary

This exciting opportunity is perfect for individuals passionate about fitness and sales who are eager to advance in the leadership structure. As a Manager in Training, you'll be responsible for achieving desired personal sales goals, driving team revenue growth through leadership and motivation, and inspiring and developing your team members to deliver exceptional membership experiences.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Achieve desired personal sales goals by effectively communicating with members, identifying their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their goals.
  • Drive team revenue growth through leadership and motivation by setting clear goals, providing constructive feedback, and recognizing individual and team successes.
  • Inspire and develop your team members to consistently deliver exceptional membership experiences by providing training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Be accountable for creating an in-club environment that drives results at the membership services desk by ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Recognize and celebrate individual and team successes by providing feedback, rewards, and recognition.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all standard operating procedures and policies that pertain to the club by staying up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
  • Follow up with sales leads and prospects in a timely manner to ensure timely conversion and maximize revenue growth.
  • Communicate and implement club policies and procedures to employees by providing clear instructions, training, and feedback.
  • Implement and support company programs and promotions to generate new sales leads and drive membership growth.
  • Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care offered to members by ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Ensure the club meets standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security by conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Support a Culture of Cleanliness by reinforcing to staff that cleanliness is everyone's responsibility, not just the maintenance staff.
  • Perform above average on all measurable Key Performance Indicators by setting clear goals, tracking progress, and making adjustments as needed.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:




  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with members, team members, and management.
  • Creative management techniques to drive team growth and revenue.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage your time, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire your team members to achieve their goals.
  • Fitness management experience preferred, but not required.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.

To be eligible for this role, you must:




  • Be at least 18 years of age to comply with applicable laws and maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) to ensure you have the basic level of education necessary to perform the duties of this role effectively.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States pursuant to both state and federal requirements and maintain your eligibility to work in the United States throughout your employment.

Location:

This role is located in Indianapolis, IN, and requires a full-time commitment. We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, with opportunities for bonuses and career advancement.
