Job Title: Resident Safety Advisor

Job Summary:
The Resident Safety Advisor will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of clients and staff at Compass Point Village, a Permanent Support Housing Complex owned by Homeward Bound of Western North Carolina. This role will involve monitoring cameras, walking the property, and completing activity and incident reports.

Responsibilities:
Monitor cameras and walk the property to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Complete activity and incident reports at the end of each shift
Secure the building during and at the end of each shift
Be comfortable with calling emergency services
Be empathetic and able to speak comfortably with individuals from all walks of life
Work alone for the duration of the shift
Have a strong working knowledge of computers and software such as Microsoft Office and Box, as well as the ability to operate and monitor surveillance software
Clean and straighten common areas as needed

Requirements:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
