Reporting to the CHRO, this role involves strategic planning, leadership, and operational excellence in support of InsideHigherEd's core values and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and evaluate the University's human resource operations.
- Be a strategic advisor on human resources trends and compliance.
- Oversee employee benefits programs and recommend cost-effective designs.
- Manage the HRIS system for efficient data management and reporting.
- Review and improve University policies and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
- Administer performance management, improve HR operations, and represent HR on campus committees.
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR management experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and benefits administration.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, integrity, and professionalism.
