About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Engineering Director to lead our business development initiatives and manage civil engineering and multi-discipline projects and staff within our Power Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business development initiatives to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities
  • Manage and lead projects, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction
  • Technically lead engineering tasks and manage staff and/or project teams
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow business and increase revenue
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • 20+ years of experience in civil engineering and engineering sales
  • Demonstrated track record of external customer engagements and building successful client relationships
  • Proven sales experience in acquiring new clients and growing business
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and risk management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience serving Power, Energy, and/or Industrial clients
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, with reciprocity in multiple states
  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field
