Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities: Participate in treatment planning to coordinate management of medical and nursing care and discharge planning of patients.
Coordinate psychiatric and/or medical emergencies to ensure the individual in crisis is properly cared for and all other patients are safe.
Participate as an active team member by assisting other staff and accepting additional assignments to complete essential patient care and unit responsibilities.
Administer medications with knowledge of action, mode of administration, side effects, and contraindications.
Assume the role of Charge Nurse for the shift.
Requirements: Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
Training and Experience: Current RI nursing license.
Special Qualifications: B.S.N preferred.
Schedule: 36/72 Full Time Nights - Every Other Weekend.
