We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Butler Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide direct patient care based on the knowledge of ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, hospital policies, and the RI Nurse Practice Act.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in treatment planning to coordinate management of medical and nursing care and discharge planning of patients.
- Coordinate psychiatric and/or medical emergencies to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Administer medications with knowledge of action, mode of administration, side effects, and contraindications.
- Assume the role of Charge Nurse for the shift.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RI nursing license.
- B.S.N. preferred.
