Track Coach for Young Athletes

The Dallas Center-Grimes School District is seeking a dedicated professional to serve as the 7th/8th Grade Assistant Boys Track Coach. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with young athletes and contribute to their growth and development in track and field.

We are looking for an experienced coach who can provide guidance, support, and mentorship to student-athletes. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for track and field, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

This is a part-time coaching position that requires a significant time commitment during the spring season. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Planning and implementing practice sessions and competitions
• Providing individualized attention and support to student-athletes
• Maintaining accurate records of student-athlete progress and performance

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of coaching experience in track and field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A valid First Aid and CPR certification
