Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Facilities Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in overseeing the electrical engineering aspects of our facilities, ensuring the effective maintenance and modification of various operational environments, including manufacturing and warehousing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and support new project plans.
  • Develop detailed scopes of work for electrical initiatives and maintenance tasks.
  • Supervise the upkeep and modifications of all facility areas and equipment, ensuring optimal layouts and cleanliness.
  • Establish electrical work procedures, prepare schedules, and streamline workflows.
  • Delegate tasks to team members and evaluate their work for adherence to established standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison with electrical utility providers.
  • Assist financial operations related to utility consumption.
  • Engage in hands-on tasks pertinent to the facilities unit.
  • Manage purchase orders within budgetary constraints and submit monthly reports to relevant departments.
  • Formulate long-term plans and documentation for electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate specifications and requirements for proposals and contracts.
  • Inspect construction and installation processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Oversee maintenance personnel engaged in equipment installation and repair.
  • Support disaster recovery initiatives and ensure site preparedness.
  • Contribute to safety training programs and compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate as-built drawings of building electrical systems.
  • Develop and implement energy efficiency and operational improvement projects.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of electrical and mechanical systems within the facility.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities engineering or a related field, including supervisory roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong reporting skills for executive-level communication.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD.
  • Experience with medium and high voltage systems.
  • Knowledge of building automation systems.

  • Background in the manufacturing sector.
