As a Dialysis Licensed Vocational Nurse at US Renal Care, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our mission to change the lives of everyone living with kidney disease.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Provide dialysis treatments to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Medication Management: Complete and document monthly reviews of patient medication profiles, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Communication: Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in patient records, including progress reports and communication with healthcare professionals.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in staff meetings, attend in-service and continuing education offerings, and assist with staff training as requested.
- Quality Assurance: Report any significant information or changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse, and report machine problems to the Biomedical Technician and Administrator.
- Licensure: Current LVN/LPN license in the applicable state, with a commitment to maintaining a current and good standing license.
- Certification: CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Language Skills: Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, with proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire.
- Practice Requirements: Meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state.
