About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist II to join our team at Swedish Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining aseptic technique and ensuring the sterility of equipment and supplies.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order and readily available for use.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, including patient information, surgical techniques, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Current BLS Certification through AHA or ARC
  • Registration as a Surgical Tech by Colorado Division of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)
  • Graduation from an accredited program for Operating Room Technicians
  • Basic to advanced knowledge in the scrub role and responsibilities for multiple surgical specialties
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
